Job description:
As the Compliance Manager you will be part of the wide Compliance team and be responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are compliant with the company’s B2C licences (UK, MGA, Ontario, Isle of Man) and any other future licences that the company may apply for.
The role is a Compliance operational role that will require an experienced Compliance Manager with multi jurisdictional B2C experience, especially in the UK and MGA with knowledge and operational experience in Safer Gambling (affordability, customer interaction) and AML a distinct advantage.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Owning and fixing compliance issues as and when detected
  • Key event reporting and liaising with third parties to identify route cause and solution
  • Dealing with ad hoc Complaints’ escalations as and when required
  • Assisting MLRO/deputy-MLRO with SAR submissions
  • Minute taking at Compliance Governance meetings
  • Designing and assisting with Compliance training
  • Providing Compliance reports to Senior management
  • Data collection and presentation in Covid-19 stand ups and Safer Gambling Committee
  • Contributing to monthly Legal and Compliance newsletter
  • Notifying regulator of any material changes, Licence variations and PML applications
  • Assisting teams within the Compliance department as and when required which will help to expand your Compliance knowledge
  • Building Compliance relationships with White Label partners ensuring they are kept abreast of regulatory developments and feedback any issues/escalations as required from time to time
  • Attending various governance committees as required
  • Working closely with the BI Team to ensure accurate and automated reporting of Compliance processes especially interaction effectiveness and use of RG tools
  • Jurisdictional Regulatory reporting as required
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Director of Compliance from time to time
 
Requirements:
 
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Compliance Manager or similar role in the gaming industry
  • Experience of UK and Malta (MGA) jurisdictions is a must
  • Ability to define solutions to regulatory challenges that balance commercial objectives with the regulatory objectives
  • Relevant Compliance qualifications such as ICA Advanced Certificate or equivalent.
  • Keen understanding of data to drive process definitions and improvements as required
  • Experience in designing and implementing Safer Gambling processes, affordability and effective customer interaction
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Previous AML experience a bonus
  • Working knowledge of other jurisdictions such as Isle of Man and Ontario is beneficial
