Job description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Manager to join our client’s team. The Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company operates within legal and regulatory guidelines, manages legal contracts, and obtains necessary gaming licenses. This position will be based in our office in Malta.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Legal Contract Management:
  • Draft, review, and manage legal contracts, including insertion orders, NDAs, and commercial agreements.
  • Ensure contracts are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to negotiate and finalize contracts.
Affiliate Gaming License Management:
  • Oversee and manage the process of obtaining affiliate gaming licenses in the US and other countries.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and changes in the gaming industry.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and timely license acquisition.
Legal Focal Point:
  • Serve as the primary legal contact within the company, providing legal guidance and expertise to various departments.
  • Advise on legal matters related to marketing, advertising, and data protection.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.
Compliance Monitoring:
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits to identify and address potential issues.
  • Keep the management team informed about compliance risks and developments.
Training and Education:
  • Provide compliance training to employees to ensure awareness and understanding of relevant regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company's operations.
Requirements;
  • Bachelor's degree in law
  • 1+ years of proven experience in compliance management within the gaming or affiliate marketing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and contract management.
  • Familiarity with gaming regulations and licensing processes, especially in the US and internationally.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Professional certification in compliance or a related field is a plus.
