A state-of-the-art online gaming platform is looking for an experienced Analyst to join their team.
As a valued member of the Business Analytics Department, you will work closely with various teams (Casino, Affiliates, VIP, Marketing and Commercial) to assist them building reports & dashboards but also build segmentations and perform deeper analysis to enhance performance.
The role reports to the Head of Business Analytics and is based in Malta.
  • Conduct on ad hoc analysis and perform reporting tasks to come up with solutions to business problems and to facilitate decision making
  • Creating reports, dashboards and support to end-users in the use of the data
  • Working closely with retention and marketing teams in segmentations building and ROI analysis
  • Work with various end-users in understanding the business requirements
  • Present data and analysis results in clear, easy to digest way
  • 1-3 years experience in a similar role in the online gaming industry
  • Proficiency in querying databases using SQL (strong experience of large database querying) and in the use of data visualization and BI tools
  • Good knowledge of BI Tools (e.g. QlikView/QlikSense, Tableau or Power BI) and experience in data modelling techniques
  • Advanced Excel skills and first experience with Statistical software like KNIME, R or similar
  • Ability to deliver high quality work and to clearly communicate results and ideas to non-technical people, both spoken and written
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or Economics.
  • Great at problem solving and critical thinking
  • A positive mental attitude, passion for data analysis and attention to detail
  • Independent worker with high drive to achieve results but also good ability to work with diverse team within an international environment
