Job Description:
We are searching for an accomplished Head of Business Intelligence with a profound understanding of data analysis, business strategy, and a track record of leveraging insights to drive organizational growth. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in BI and analytics, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for using data to guide strategic initiatives.
 
Responsibilities:
 

• Lead the development and implementation of the company's Business Intelligence strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
• Manage and mentor a team of BI professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable BI initiatives.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of BI systems, data warehouses, and dashboards to deliver timely and accurate insights.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business optimization.
• Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to support decision-making across various departments.
• Establish best practices for data governance, quality assurance, and data security compliance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in BI tools to drive continuous improvement.
• Present findings, reports, and strategies to senior management, conveying complex information in a clear and understandable manner.

 
Requirements:
 

• 7+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven track record of leading BI initiatives and driving transformative change within an organization.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
• Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data analysis.
• In-depth understanding of statistical methods, predictive modelling, and data mining techniques.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Flexibility and willingness to relocate to Cyprus.
