Our client, an award-winning, global company looking for an experienced HR Assistant to help HR in the daily administration of department activities, included but not limited to recruitment, employment conditions and related issues, and will provide general support to all employees in Malta. A fantastic opportunity to join a growing team for one of the world’s leading online betting & casino companies.
  • Track progress, deadlines and priorities of all HR projects
  • Review and ensure accuracy of approved monthly entries sheets
  • Establish/maintain employee records; ensure that employee changes are up-to-date
  • Prepare Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents
  • Work with internal record keeping system to assist in maintaining accurate and updated employee records
  • Assist with work permit processes and other governmental procedures related to foreign employees
  • Assist with the recruitment process by coordinating communication with candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting interview and reference checks, and onboarding new employees
  • Document and distribute minutes of HR meetings
  • Maintain a high level of customer service with both internal and external clients
  • Perform and support other HR generalist duties and Office Management duties as assigned
  • Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
  • Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews
  • Help out on travel requests
  • Undertake other ad hoc assignments as required
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Able to work proactively in a team
  • Strong communication skills, able to openly share ideas or information with team and keep all team members apprised of any updates to projects
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Reasoning ability - good common sense with ability to solve practical problems
  • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
  • Must have good computer skills, able to quickly learn how to use new platforms and programs
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
