Key responsibilities:
• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to the international finance team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations of the accounting function.
• Collaborate with the US finance team to enhance operational efficiencies across the international and US finance teams.
• Collaborate closely with the US controller to deliver timely consolidated financials to senior management.
• Lead the accounting governance across all international legal entities by supervising all accounting stakeholders.
• Manage monthly close process and prepare management reporting package for senior management.
• Lead and execute the year-end close process and manage external annual and compliance audits.
• Ensure compliance with various gaming regulations, financial regulations, accounting standards and tax requirements.
• Drive the International financial planning and annual budget/forecast processes.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity, optimizing the allocation of financial resources.
• Monitor and analyze the relationship between the various subsidiaries within the Group and the tax impact of the intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate annual transfer pricing studies and profit split work.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of operational costs, identifying areas for potential improvement and cost efficiencies, and presenting findings to senior management.
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and department heads to enhance decision-making, financial performance, and cost management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A relevant professional qualification, such as Big 4 audit experience, is highly desirable.
• Online gambling or gaming industry experience is required and mandatory
• Proven experience in a senior financial management role
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to the company’s overall financial strategy.
