Job description: Responsibilities:
  • Advising management on legal matters in relation to various business activities
  • Providing guidance on compliance laws and regulations in relation to Maltese legal requirements and the other jurisdictions where the Employer holds remote gaming licenses and/or undertakes business
  • Overseeing contractual obligations and maintaining contractual and regulatory relations
  • Being the core point of information and guidance in all legal matters for the Employer and its international relations
  • Maintain records of group policies and procedures and uphold them internally as well as towards regulatory authorities and international supervisory bodies
  • Provide internal staff training and support
  • Advising on and managing consumer complaint escalations and potential litigation
  • Assist with changes to the corporate structure and other corporate matters and affairs
  • Draft, review and negotiate compliant contracts with games and payment providers and other suppliers and maintaining systematic contracts management
  • A law degree and warrant to practice as an advocate in Malta
  • 2 Years’ Experience working in a legal role within the iGaming industry
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English
  • Command of German language is considered an asset
  • Proficient use in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills required to organise and analyse data and tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and manage own workload while being part of a motivated team
  • Team player with customer-oriented mind-set
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised with a good eye for detail
