Job description:  KYC & AML Agent
You will be required to:
  • Work with the Compliance Department & MLRO within the daily operation of the business activity and processes to support the regulations, assist with relevant compliance matters and to mitigate the business risks.
  • Assist to monitor, analyze, report, and implement the procedures and processes to ensure the full compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT), to safeguard payouts are made in a timely manner towards Customers.
  • You will be performing risk assessment of existing and new clients, evaluating, and identifying suspicious behavior and reporting to the MLRO on appropriate action according to the level of risk.
  • You will execute the adequate Customer Risk Assessment, and accordingly request the Customer Due Diligence from the Customer as required based on a risk approach ensuring the ongoing monitoring of customers.
  • You will keep the Client Register up to date and ensure all CDD information, documents and files are properly maintained, stored, and recorded.
  • You will be clearing and/or investigating/verifying possible matches as generated by the scanning application that the Company uses to scan their client base against lists of sanctioned individuals and/or PEPs.
  • You will support the Payments department to ensure all checks are executed in a timely manner.
  • You will liaise with internal departments such as Customer Support, Payments, and Compliance to ensure AML procedures are being adhered to.
  • You will support the MRLO in any AML/KYC related projects/matters
  • Any other tasks that management might assign.
The requirements for this role are:
  • At least 1 year experience in a compliance/customer support environment.
  • Previous experience in a gambling company is an asset.
  • Familiar with the AML/CFT legislation and regulations in United Kingdom or Malta, is an asset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. A college degree is preferred.
  • Excellent Microsoft skills including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Excellent drafting, written and verbal communication skills with a native level proficiency required to produce high quality reports.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, result-oriented person.
