Job description: One of our established iGaming operator clients are hiring a Network/System and EUC Support Analyst Administrator to be based in their Malta office!
You will be primarily responsible for ensuring the effective day to day operation of all their IT Equipment with a focus on EUC, server and network infrastructure. You will also be the second point of contact for end users receiving Desktop IT Support in Malta. This includes, installing, maintaining, diagnosing, repairing and upgrading all hardware and equipment. You will be responsible for promptly and efficiently assisting other colleagues with IT related requests, by means of physical intervention, telephone support or via remote access all logged and tracked through a support ticketing system.
Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager remotely.
There may be occasional travel to the company’s Headquarter office in England!
  • Onsite/Remote Support as required by the business
  • Windows Server 2012 R2/2016/2019 (GPO's, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP) support
  • Windows 10/Mac OSX/Laptop/Desktop/Mobile Phone (iOS/Android) support
  • User Account Maintenance through Active Directory / O365
  • Setup/Configure/Maintain/Administer Desktop Computers/Peripherals and test network connections
  • Harden Windows Operating Systems based on NIST & CIS Guidelines
  • Install Desktop & Server Software and Applications and test functionality
  • Provide 2nd Support for various software packages
  • Meeting Room / AV Support
  • Teams, Slack, Zoom and Skype for Business
  • System Patching (Windows Updates, Adobe Updates, Java Updates, Firmware Updates)
  • RJ45 and RJ11 Cable Patching
  • Physical Workstation/Server and peripheral relocations
  • Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers
  • Hardware Repairs and Upgrades
  • Maintaining an up-to-date IT Asset Register
  • Setup/Configure/Maintain/Administer Enterprise applications (Active Directory, Exchange, Veeam, VMware, ESET etc) hosted on Windows Server Operating Systems and test operational functionality
  • Sophos Central - Endpoint Security and Antivirus
  • Sophos Central - Mobile management
  • Forcepoint Security Manager / Similar web proxy
  • Troubleshoot Network connectivity problems in a LAN/WAN environment
  • Juniper Firewalls
  • HP Aruba Switches
  • Pulse Secure VPN management
  • Cisco Meraki / WiFi management
  • Document processes and procedures
  • Work with Software Vendors to resolve technical issues
  • Security Awareness Training and general user training
  • User Account Maintenance through Active Directory and Office365 (Account Provision, Account Revocation, Password resets)
  • Escalate issues and involve superiors wherever required in order to resolve an issue as quickly as possible
  • Any other duties as requested by the Company
  • 2 to 3 years working experience in a similar role
  • Industry related qualifications (Microsoft, Cisco, VMware etc) beneficial
  • Good English communication skills (Verbal and Written) – Spanish language skills considered an asset
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Able to operate with minimal supervision
  • Able to operate under stressful conditions
  • Able to manage time and prioritise effectively
